1. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for ensuring that people you authorise use the workspace appropriately.
2. The ArcBooks service
ArcBooks is business accounting and record-management software. It provides tools for transactions, inventory, parties, ledgers, documents, reports and related workflows. ArcBooks does not replace a qualified accountant, tax professional, auditor, lawyer or other adviser.
3. Free trial
New accounts may receive a limited free trial for the duration displayed at registration or in the product. The current default is 7 days. Trial access and its expiry are calculated from account creation and are subject to the plan configuration applicable at that time.
4. Paid plans
ArcBooks offers paid annual plans including Prime, Advance and Business, with Enterprise available for tailored requirements. Plan features and indicative prices are shown on Plans & Billing. Contact Sales to receive a written quote and payment instructions. The quote will confirm the applicable price, billing period and plan. The agreed plan is assigned by an ArcBooks administrator after payment confirmation.
5. Limits and entitlement changes
Plan limits are enforced automatically. Daily document limits reset at midnight IST; master-record and active-user limits are checked before new records are created. ArcBooks may update published plan limits prospectively. The ArcBooks primary administrator may also apply an individual plan assignment or personal limit override to a workspace.
6. Billing and payments
ArcBooks currently uses a sales-assisted payment workflow and does not offer in-app payment gateway checkout. Customers must contact Sales for a written quote and payment instructions. Subscription access is activated or extended by an authorised ArcBooks administrator after confirming payment. Keep the receipt or transaction reference for reconciliation. The agreed amount, billing period and plan will be confirmed in writing before payment. Refund and cancellation requests are handled under the Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
7. Business data and backups
You remain responsible for the information you enter, the permissions you grant and the legality and accuracy of your business records. Give team members only the access they need, review permissions periodically and maintain independent backups of important records even when using ArcBooks backup features. If you record staff attendance, salary or photos of staff, you are responsible for informing them, for using the records lawfully and for keeping their self punch PINs and links private.
8. Acceptable use and security
Do not bypass authentication or subscription controls, interfere with the service, abuse support systems, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, access another user's data without permission or upload information you are not authorised to store. Notify Support promptly if you suspect account compromise.
9. Availability and product changes
ArcBooks is maintained and improved regularly. Planned maintenance or updates may briefly affect availability, and features, limits and workflows may be refined over time. We work to keep the service available and to announce significant changes.
10. Account closure or suspension
You may request account closure through Support. Cancellation of a paid subscription does not by itself delete business records. Data retention and deletion are handled under the Privacy Policy and the Refunds & Cancellation Policy. ArcBooks may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, non-payment, legal compliance or protection of the service and its users.
11. Contact
Support is available at support@arcbooks.in, Monday–Saturday, 11:00 AM–9:00 PM IST.
